The best is what you want, don't decide base on jobs demand and supply cause there is no guarantee once you graduate the same demand-supply dynamics would apply... Look at nursing, ngayon oversupply na and graduate of those courses are finding it harder to get jobs because of oversupply...

Mas maganda pa rin yung gusto mo talaga. Tama si tidus

Sayang.

If there's where you enjoy, dun ka. Follow your heart, not your wallet or the trends. Besides, for the latter, malalaos yun eventually

Dami kasi kakaibang courses yung different schools.

As for anong general direction mo - (and not the exact course), doon ka kung saan mo gusto hehe

If you ask me though, BUSINESS pa rin. The most flexible course... And hopefully in the future you become an entrepreneur. We need more of those this country seriously lacks jobs. WE NEED MORE RISK TAKERS! Everyone just wants a fixed salary and work for someone else, wala gustong mag lead and take the risk...

Follow your heart pero dapat magisip ka rin kung may makukuha ka ba agad na trabaho or dapat in demand ang kunin mo para di ka mahirapan. Kinwento sakin ng Mom ko gusto nia talaga kunin dati Computer Science kaso, dun sa college na inapplyan niya walang ganung course so she asked kung ano ang mga inooffer then she chose accountancy. Ayun, naging succesful naman siya and nakapasa sa CPA exams then nag MBA sia and now taking Doctorate degree.

Ako nga gusto ko talaga course na related sa cars, pagiging piloto or engineering kaso kahit na engineering din ang dad ko inisip ko ung pros and cons and ended up with accountancy dahil matutulungan din ako ng mother ko, at ang nasa isip ko lang nun course na madali akong kikita pag graduate ko dahil gustong gusto ko magkakotse. And after I graduated nagtrabaho muna bilang clerk sa accounting firm ng mother ko, pinahirapan ako nun! Then after, sa akin niya na binibigay yung ibang mga offer sa kanya kaya very thankful ako.

Ngayon, I already have 2 cars from my own money and i'm just in my early 20's well, nakakatipid kasi ako ng malaki dahil sa amin parin ako nakatira and walang ibang gastusin.

To the TS: to answer your question, you must answer these two -- what are you good at, and what do you like doing? Basing your course choices on these two aspects at least introduces a sense of interest in that there's something holding your interest. Never take a course in which you're only thinking of a future career based on job availability, because you might end up not liking it and being forced to shift, which means additional school time.

Just pick a course in line with your interest and competency because you'll have a bigger chance of excelling in it, and being excellent is what gets you a recruiter's nod.

Be aware also na minsan nangyayari yung tinatawag na "frustrated pilot, frustrated enginer/ doctor, frustrated military officer, etc".

Good college course
