[SIZE=4]SM City Fairview[/SIZE] is celebrating 2008 FATHER?S DAY with immense festivity with a car show entitled [SIZE=4]CAR MANIA'08[/SIZE]. This will feature all genres and generations of cars, participated by cars groups and companies, and will be highlighted with prestigious awards, fun games and musical concert. This event will be featured in various broadcasting and print media avenues.

yup and sa mga pupunta no prob kasi malaki and free ang parking ng SM fairview .. i hope walang ibang activities during this day ang tsikot para kita-kits tayo mga fellow tsikoteers ..

Is there any entrance fee for this? I assume the P1,200 registration fee will only be for the participants but what about casual onlookers who just want to go around the show/exhibit?

Event Schedule
6:00 am Ingress
10:00 am Open Gate
4:00 pm Judging Time
6:00 pm Minor Performers
7:00 pm Announcement of winners & Awarding
7:30 pm Main Artist/s Concert
8:00 pm Participant’s Exit

1. Ingress time will be from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM
2. Judging will strictly start at 4:00 PM
3. Any entries after the ingress time will not be given extra time for preparations

4. Parking slots will be on a first come first served basis
5. Reservation of slots can be made from the start of the registration period
6. Registration will begin on May10, 2008
7. Registration can be arranged by contacting the organizer.
8. Walk-In entries will be accommodated depending on the slot availability.
9. A limited number of tents will be provided for the participants.

10. Registration fee is at 1200 pesos (Food is included in the reg fee)
11. A discounted rate of 1000 pesos will be given for groups of 5 or more
12. Groups of 5 or more is eligible for car group/club awards

13 A best in stock award will be given for stock entries
14. Stock cars can include 3 MAJOR modifications and unlimited number of minor modifications
15. Major modifications include body kits, paint, rims, graphics and ICE
16. Minor modifications include steering wheels, shift knobs, exhaust tips and the likes
17. Unclear/vague modifications will still be under the organizers discretion and may re-classify an entry
if the organizer deems necessary
18. Classification complaints can be made only to the head organizer
19. Participants who wish to enter the stock category must list down the modifications made to the vehicle


20. There are six major awards
a. Best Millennium (2000 and above models)
b. Best Contemporary (1990-1999)
c. Best Old School (1970-1989) – Father’s Special
d. Best Stock (1990 and above models)
e. Best SUV/AUV (1990 and above models)
f. Best Vintage (1969 and below)

21. All the individual awards except for the most popular ride and People’s choice will be based on the
scores given by the judges
22. The judge’s decision is final.

usually po pag media partner ang tsikot may tent/booth...approach lang po kayo sa tent/booth...mababait po tao dito...wala pa naman nakakagat, so far...
