Up ko lang. Hirap maghanap ng alarm with the features I'm looking for:
MUST:
- Trunk release
- Silent arm/disarm (1-button press, so probably programmed like TVSS)
- Can disable shock sensor
- Not overly sensitive shock sensor, if active (my Cobra triggers at the slightest vibration, even at the lowest shock setting)
- Ability to disable active arming (will not auto-lock when all doors are closed)
WANTS:
- Speed sensing auto-lock (also like my TVSS)
- Euro sounding siren (no the usual 6-tone)
- Separate trunk release button with icon (hindi yung hold down another key for n seconds, or press down a combination of buttons)
- Simple remote
- P3,000 or cheaper
Ok sana yung Force Vehicle Security System, pero walang variant with trunk release.

I went with THORN PA-1622 vehicle security system. Ok na ok siya. Very happy ako. All my musts were satisfied. Pina-swap ko yung horn with the 1-tone horn of the Force VSS, kasi mas type ko ang tunog (6-tone yung originally kasama sa package). Remote isn't exactly simple, pero compact, very solid with chrome and tight sliding cover. Trunk release is pressing the silent button for 2 seconds. Programmable pa lahat ng features, as long as all wirings were done properly upon installation.
Got it for only P1,800 at Vincars sa Auto Centro. Thanks Vincars! Now my 2-week old Cobra will find its way to the classifieds section!
