GPS signals doesn't give you any information other than your coordinates.

In some countries (Philippines not included), live traffic information is transmitted through FM signals. This service is either paid or free depending on the provider and country.

This traffic data is NOT received via GPS signals. GPS signals is strictly for positioning purposes.

ang yabang mo naman sumagot pare. hindi naman nakaindicate sa manual na "strictly for positioning ang GPS signal". nandito ako sa forum to learn from other people. as I said before, hindi nakaindicate sa manual na "GPS signals is strictly for positioning purposes". masyado ka lang feeling know-it-all.
may right way para sagutin ang questions. Hindi yung nagyayabang ka na wag ako magtanong kasi wala ako alam. Not all people alam yung sagot sa tanong ko. Anyway hindi lahat ng GPS device merong FM signals. kaya ako nagtanong, hindi ko naman inexpect na isang mayabang ang sasagot.

kmike9km, useless as of now yung mga GPS which rely on traffic updates via FM signals since no entity in the Philippines has sought to broadcast traffic updates via FM. I hope MMDA would implement one :D
