H11 Bulb question

Hi mga sirs,

Nagpa install ako ng fog lights and ndi ako satisfied dun sa stock bulb nya.. mas malakas pa yun headlight ko (thanks to Osram NB!)

Ano po ma-rerecommend nyo na H11 na bulb for night driving.. gusto ko po eh medyo white like Osram NB.. just want to add some more light while driving at night (ayoko ng yellow for fogs)

or meron bang Osram NB / Philips Xtreme Power na H11 bulb na mabibili sa manila? san ako makakabili nun..

Sir wala ata xtreme power na h11.. nag hahanap din ako nito para sa fogs ko pero wala ako mahanap.. Nag hid na lang muna ako na 4300k na h11.

please po... has anyone tried the following halogen bulbs for their fogs?

1. Philips Crystal Vision (4300k)
2. Euroline Super White (4500k ?)
3. Splitfire Hi Luminosity (4500k)

at san po makakabili..

i would recommend Euroline sa fogs bro.super yellow.

We installed Splitfire H11s on the other car. Pretty decent for the price.

zeldrix: first of all, mas malakas talaga ang main hl vs. the fogs, kahit anong bulb ikabit coz it was designed to be like that.

Madami misconception sa fog lights, as the term implies, "fog lights" pang fog lights yan eh kaso wala naman fogs dito sa atin so what can it do for you? fog lights add foreground light, around 5-6 steps from your bumper and wide ng konti kasi nga designed for you to see pag meron fog sa harap. It is not designed to add light way ahead of the car which is the function of your main hl. Dapat mas clear expectation on what the fog light can do for you coz sayang pera if you upgrade it unnecessarily. Your NB upgrade is a very good choice. It is way better than installing HID plug and play kit sa main hl mo. you get better lighting without posing any danger sa other motorists. Installing hid sa fogs mo will produce glare kung hindi projector type yung fogs mo. Better to get a good H11 bulb vs. a hid kit. And as mentioned foreground lang mada-dagdagan, in your case since ok yung main hl mo, it will help a little bit. Since 5-6 steps lang kasi dagdag na ilaw sa fogs, you can imagine pag tumatakbo yung oto na mabilis hindi masyadong useful yung output right? If you want light way ahead of you, then install driving lights like the Hella FF series. Pencil thin yung output nyan pero malayo ang bato.

tama si kapatid na gary....hindi naman masyadong applicable dito sa pinas yang fog light unless nakatira ka sa tagaytay or baguio...

paps,walang XP na h11,mag polarg super yellow ka na lang since whitish din buga ng NB medyo hirap ka din sa ulan kung whitish light output pa din hanap mo sa fogs

Shameless plug.. Andito parin sa akin yung Polarg H11 pure yellow na ginamit ko sa FD ko noon. 1 month used lang. Baka may interested lang hehe

Are the bulbs busted already? Polarg or Euroline yellow.

I think your fog lamps uses h3 bulbs.

ano ba kotse yan sir? tignan mo sir saan nakatutok ang fogs mo baka naman kasi hindi sa sahig kaya feeling niyo mahina. ang fogs normally malapitan lang buga niyan. or pwede din pa sideways. yan ang design ng mga bagong sasakyan now. or baka sa sobrang baba ang lapit ng buga pagsakay mo sa kotse mo di mo na makita halos sa harap lang ng bumper hehe.

kung di mo type ang mag dilaw sa fogs well pwede mo try yung mga ibang nabanggit mo na brand na 4300k to 4500k basta wag yung super white talo ka pag umulan tapos aspalto ang daan mo .wakas yan hehe wag ka din magtataas ng wattage dahil una iba ang init ng halogen at baka masira or malusaw lang housing ng fogs mo, socket mo or wiring or fuse. stick with 55w pag halogen
