anong mas prefered nyong kelvin?.. thnaks...
For an Innova ?
Neither. Hahahaha.
You'll just cause too much glare on oncoming traffic.
i agree... magupgade kana lang ng bulbs (philips xtreme/ osram nightbrakers) or magupgrade ng wiring harness/relay to accomodate higher wattage na bulbs.
pero kung gusto mo talaga HID, consult sir gary here dito sa lights and lamps talk... para optimum lighting with HID without the glare
6000K or 8000K. None of those.
First of all, the headlights of the Innova is not designed for HID.
Kahit you're on low beam, nakaka-silaw parin yan sa iba.
Been there, done that. Walang magandang benefit yan.
Best thing to do is have the headlights retrofitted with projectors.
Like what I did.
Bolt-on projectors or retrofitted with projectors.
Either of the two should work with HIDs. Otherwise, it'll just be glare galore.
6000k, in fact if you can get lower the better. Most OEM HIDs are in the 4,800 to 5000k, so that they are still very useable in rain. 6000k is closer to white while the 8000k is closer to blue.
I prefer 4300K - which almost all OEM car manufacturer uses and here is why...
Some other good info from this site
And a comparison of Kelvin to lumens;
Standard OEM halogen 55W 9006(HB4) = 1100lm (lumens)
4300k D2S Philips = 3200lm (lumens)
4300k D2R Philips = 2800lm (lumens)
4300k D2S Philips = 2400lm (lumens) actually 5800k
4300k D2R Philips = 2000lm (lumens) actually 5800k
4800k D4S/R (brand) = 3800 (lumens) ** brightest in the market
5800k D4S/R (brand) = 3300 (lumens)
7000k D2S other = 1790lm (lumens) *(other bulb brand)
7000k D2R other = 1390lm (lumens) *(other bulb brand)
8000k D2S other = 1180lm (lumens) *(other bulb brand)
8000k D2R other = 780lm (lumens) *(other bulb brand)
Higher than 8000k, the light output significantly drops off, causing the light to be almost useless.
One should point out that although light output drops off after 8000k, the fact that the light is in the blue-purple spectrum, it still puts a major strain on the eyes of others.
so the best is Ipademo niyo sa bibilhan niyo ng HID
pero that chart is the best!!!!!! sir slick50
thanks for sharing that chart
tsaka "One should point out that although light output drops off after 8000k, the fact that the light is in the blue-purple spectrum, it still puts a major strain on the eyes of others." I agree with this!!!!!!
:bwahaha:
