3,000 pesos na HID o 3,000 Kelvin? Baka naman Halogen bulb tinutukoy mo? Iba ang halogen bulb sa HID. Cheapest HID kits would be around 16k. Check the Car finder link above for some ads.

Is it true that you have to turn on the non-factory installed HIDs for 10 mins before you put it off?

Di po. I have an XTec 5K aftermarket kit installed in my Mazda3 and it is wired in to the stock headlight wiring. Like all HIDs (factory and aftermarket) you will get a slight colour change a few minutes after turning them on until the time they get to their normal "operating temperature".

yes malaki ang difference... also, the super whites are virtually useless when driving on asphalt roads in the rain...

best HID kelvin rating would be from 4100k to 6000k.

I doubt that its an legit HID, malamang super white halogens lang yan. Can you post pics of the product to verify?

the HID-look lights are far different from the real deal HIDs. they may be able to get the color/shade of the real HIDs but they're no where near the real ones in terms of brightness. and yes, they're a b!tch to use on wet asphalt roads. you're better off with stock colored higher wattage bulbs with an upgraded wiring harness.

Ibig po bang sabihin, kung tunay na HID....maganda talaga kahit sa wet asphalt roads?

For good visibility select a temp rating between 3,400 (yellowish) - 4,200 (whitish) Kelvin.

maybe it's like the ipf ones that i use for my pajero, complete with bulb, wirings and ballast but the lights emitted are around 4000 K. best suited for offroading applications.

baurtwell: will pm you later po.. :D

    salamat sa replies..

AFAIK 4300K gives you the best visibility during rain and on asphalt roads. 8000K and up are just for looks and porma
