headlight touched the glass part

When i was changing my headlight bulbs i accidentaly touched the glass part what can i do to remove the prints there?

nyaiks... you can technically by using a really soft optic tissue (those sold sa photo shops), but medyo malaki na risk mo puputok yan sa housing.

Yup.. alcohol (rubbing alcohol) is the solution . Apply it carefully using cotton balls

The salts in your skin oils penetrate and weaken the glass. The bulb not only has a shorter life, but when the bulb dies the filament doesn't merely burn out, but rather the bulb envelope shatters. The light bulb industry calls it a "non-passive failure."

Alcohol lang ang remedyo diyan.

But better if you have those eyeglass cleaning cloths to apply it with.

I use those prepacked alcohol pads used for IV-prepping kasi nakakalat lang dito.

also ang oil sa skin sticks and makes the glass hotter. used to touch them before and then wipe them clean with alcohol or thinner, tried to remove the black part in front, the bulbs did last just like virgin untouched bulbs.
