gandang hapon po mga sir.....this is my first post and i've been a lurker only for the past month and i found this forum very helpful and very informative ....mabuhay po kayo.
can anybody po here sa forum help me on how would i know kung pundi na yung brake light o meron pa itong ibang cause na pinagmulan? sa fuse po ba o sa mismong bulb? yung right side kasi na brake light namin ay di umiilaw kapag nagprepreno. Gusto ko sana i'll do-it-myself na lang para ala ng gastos masyado.....adventure nga po pala yung ride namin.sALAMAT NA MARAMI IN ADVANCE.

October 16th, 2003 10:02 AM #7To add...a busted bulb will have any of this symptoms a broken filament, blackened bulb, broken bulb....maganda sana may continuity tester ka to check out which bulb is busted.

October 17th, 2003 11:12 AM #8mga sir...i've already check the brake light last night....bale pareho ng side ang alang brake light...pero bakit pag tinurn on ko yung light meron siyang tail light? di ibig sabihin ok pa yung bulb? sa fuse kaya ang diperensiya?

October 17th, 2003 11:28 AM #9Double contact bulbs sa rear, that means there should be 2 filaments inside. You may have busted one filament for the brakes. You will need to change the bulbs to get it fixed.
Yes, there is a fuse for brake lamps. If you have a 3rd brake lamp, you may also use it as a guide.

bumili ako nung peanut bulb for 3rd brake light sa banawe, 40 pesos. yun pala meron sa SM, 2 for 50 pesos. at meron pa, 2 for 100, LED na..
you might want to consider using LED bulbs instead of normal ones. mas mahal, pero bihira mapundi ang mababa ang use niya ng kuryente.
