    Guys,

Installed this in my trooper and IPF900 but I have a problem... it's shakey... as in pag tumatakbo ako gumagalaw yung ilaw.. feel ko tuloy parang jeep auto ko hehee... Any one who have used this? What remedy did you do to avoid this?

Is there anything wrong with the installation? Bakit kaya ganito.. to think na jaos pa ang brand and 15k ang binayad ko for this braket alone!

Plan to email jaos pa nga eh! advise naman.

    thanks

add additional brackets for the lamp stay. or it is not properly installed. is it shaking when you hit road irregularities and during idling or all the time?

Retorque all the nuts and bolts. They are too tight that engine vibrations transfer to the lampstay. Then add rubber washers about half to an inch at the base screw of your aux lamps.

ARB: Pag idling lang medya lang ang alog pero when I hit the road aba! I have dancing lights!

UNGAS: So dapat pala luwagan ko pa? sa mismong kabitan ba ng lamps tsaka lampstay yung goma? san kaya ako makakahanap nito?

Redhorse: I plan to do that this saturday... magagawan kaya nila ng paraan...

Guys, tiningnan ko kangina yung vibration by actually moving it around by hand mahigpit naman eh.. may kaunting movement lang dahil mahina yung support nya sa front. Sa may plates lang kasi kinabit yung support sa unahan using the screws for the plate number. I think malambot yung bumper ko? since yung bracket holding my plate is just a lock which acts as a thread... para mahigpitan mo yung screw sa plates.

Yung braket naman nya papasok ginagalaw ko di naman umalog and mukhang mahigpit or sturdy naman... hmm panu kaya ito?

mas malambot ata ang bumper ng trooper kasi one piece plastic ito. unlike sa patrol and pajero na bakal yung gitnang part ng bumper (3 pc bumper). palagyan mo ng bracket sa loob ng bumper, connecting the plate mount to any part inside that is sturdy.

...a picture is worth a hundred words.

mdpo:::baka yun bumper ang niyuyugyug ng lampstay mo. pagawa ka ng bracket sa likod papunta sa crossmember (kung aabot).

Check the lampstay first if it vibrates on idling. Pag hindi, nasa lamps ang solution nyan. Pero di ba ang problema nga ng Trooper units masyadong malakas ang engine vibrations lalo na kung idle?

Kadalasan pag sumobra ang higpit ng nuts and bolts vibration will be transferred. If you do have torque wrench the better. Pero yung aux lamps ko tyagaan lang pag adjust ng higpit ng nuts.

Ungas: nagvivibrate ito slightly when on idle pero when on the road di ko alam kasi ako driver eh :D. But the way I see it yung ilaw ko is really vibrating.

Afrasay: san kaya ako pwede magpagawa? sorry for my ignorance but what is a cross member? hehehe

    Guys,

San ako pwede mag upload ng pics and how do I upload one?

thanks.. I'll try to get a good pic tom.

if you're in the manila area try mo kay ferdie 360-3268 ang no. niya. crossmember = a strong metal (usually angular or tubular)bar that connects both side of the chassis or in a unibody both side of the front frame.

Just click the New Reply button then try to attach the image from your computer disk. May limit nga pala ang size kung ilang MB pwede attach, so make your image a little smaller in size properties.

    Guys,

here's the first pic. btw update lang went to ride banawe where I bought these and nilagyan nalang ng additional bracket dun sa kabitan ng plates.. but this is still not 100% sure siguro medyo na-eliminate lang ng kaunti ang vibration. Ang cause daw kasi is malambot ang bumper wherein it is attached.
