astinagt, malamang na check mo na ung bulb mo ano? pwede DIY yan pero medyo matrabaho.. you need to trace ung wiring nyan and need a couple of tools like tester and etc..
regarding sa signal light switch.. medyo mahirap gawin yan.. before that happened to me on a kia pride, meron parang ball bearing sa loob tapos nalaglag... ang hirap ibalik.. you can try banawe muna siguro??
Unless you've done some electrical work in the past, you're most likely better off having somebody do the job for you.Originally Posted by astinagt
The thing with electrical troubleshooting is that you have to have an understanding of the "current flow" or the circuit arrangement with the use of a "block diagram", AND you also need to know where the pertinent parts are located. For these, you'll need a good repair manual.
In the case of the low beams, make sure you can hear the "clicking" of the low/high beam switching relay. If you hear the switch and the lights just go dark when you switch to low beam, it's very likely you just need to replace the headlight bulbs. But if you can't hear the click, and the light just remains in high beam mode, then there's probably something wrong with the switching relay.
On the matter of the non-locking turn signal mechanism, that's a mechanical defect, and it most likely needs to be replaced (the whole mechanism, not just the stalk).
