OEM HID on brand new vehicles

depends anong oto. Nissan will use Matsushita ballasts, Honda > Mitsubishi, Toyota > Denso, Euro cars will use Hella, Valeo etc. Most will use either Philips or Osram bulbs

sa bulbs you can expect, 3-4 years with 2-3 hours of use everyday. ballasts will last 5-8 years.

I've noticed a Montero having projectors with great output, even with my dark tint. Do Monteros come with projectors having output above most other oem hid fitted cars? Otherwise, I've got good company with a retrofit.
Gotta switch to lighter tint to better appreciate the projector retrofits I meet.

^disregard. Nakita ko sya kanina. Daytime. I'll check it out when I see it nighttime. Nataon lang siguro nasa madilim na street sya kaya napa double take ako. Ok yung output nya. Sana ganon talaga silang lahat.

The old Montero Sport SE and GTV have single xenon projectors with Osram bulbs and Mitsubishi ballasts. Ok naman output, I'd say 7 of 10 sa performance ng single xenon projectors.

gearspeed: in perspective, matagal yun bro. Halogen bulbs will last less than that lifespan and 2-3 hours/day gamit nun which normally hindi naman so matagal yan

I carry Matsushita ballasts for Nissan. Yang Urvan has a halogen headlight and you cannot just use HID on that coz it will cause so much glare to other motorist. HID needs to be retrofitted with projectors.
