HID or White Halogen bulb???

Im planning to have a HID for me ae92.

Gusto ko kasi yung white yung color ng lights.

gusto ko din sana malaman if meron bang nabibili ng white halogen bulb? what it is called? and what preferable brand ang maganda?

Ano kaya mas advisable sa dalawa? the HID or the white halogen bulb if ever meron nito?

pasenya na po newbie lang pag dating sa cars.

If you're just after the looks, there are halogen bulbs available that emit the white light you're looking for. These bulbs are tinted blue/light blue to give the white look, but since they're tinted, they're not as bright as non-tinted halogens.

If you're after the looks and the functionality, HID is the way to go. However, not just bolt-on/plug and play HID, but projector installed HID.

If you have a budget of 20k, get projector retrofits and slap those with HID.

If gusto mo cheap-upgrade lang, go for Philips XP or Osram Nightbreakers. Easily slappable sa stock headlights mo.

Kung nagsalpak ka naman ng HID bolt-on and start blinding the incoming traffic, expect paint scratches kung nahanap ko yun kotse nakapark :naughty2: hahaha..

i do sell both halogen white color which are the tinted glass bulbs, and also sell hid's so far the feedbacks i get are HID is more expensive, but it's definitely brighter.

HID is the no.1 answer if you are not just after the looks(pogi points) but also want to have a clear and bright vision. safety purposes

To produce a white light from a halogen bulb, the bulb casing must be coated to prevent or reduce the yellow part of the light to output, thus only showing the whitish to blue part of the light. Sadly a halogen bulb produces more light in the yellow spectrum than any other color, so by reducing the yellow spectrum, you are also reducing the majority of the light output. This is the reason why many using these bulbs complain that they can't see much of the road. The coating also creates more heat build up inside the bulb, causing the bulb to prematurely burn out.

Halogen lights main product is heat and light is just a byproduct, an HID on the other hand has a main product of light and heat is just a byproduct. So HID in general are more energy effecient than Halogens. Since there is less heat build up, HID tends to last longer.
