what thickness of azngle bar did you use? i notice that it seemed small. anyways this is what is what i did and the thickness of the angle bar with a separate bracket for the plate so that i can tighten the bracket to the bumper without damage to the plate.
sir arb..i used aluminum angle bar care of sir otep....hmmm...un sayo po ba naka screw sa ibabaw ng bumper?
ako kasi i cant afford to drill a hole sa bumper..so im using the hole for the plates.bumili nalang po ako ng magandang bolt para di maputol and double nut para mas secure.
need4speed..thanks!!herhehrherher
i used the plate no. holes to mount the bracket with supporting brackets at the back of the bumper that attaches to the body. looking from the front most people would say that sayang that i made a hole in the bumper.
The Hella FF1000 are also good(2.8K each) and the Illuminator(8K each) are the best.(Han's Tools) You can also check the beam profile sa Hella site so that you can decide what's the best for you. Very informative yung site ng Hella. I installed a Comet 550 driving lights (I'm going for the FF1000 next time) and a FF75 fogs on my rig. Fog lamps have short and wide beam pattern giving you better foreground illumination. Driving lights have long, very directional beam pattern giving you better illumination at high speed to allow you to react to any debris (or whatever) on the road. Driving lights are mounted on top of the bumper and fogs normally below the bumper. You can also install all-weather H3 bulbs on this lamps para better illumination kung umuulan. The OSRAM Silverstar(800/pair) are also very good or the Flosser All weather (400/pair).
Just sharing my experience and I hope Glennster won't mind.

sir gary q..i definitely dont mind!!!we appreciate the good info!!!
yep!!i opt for this driving lights because it is very useful especially during long drives in the highway of provinces...baka may mga baka o kambing na tumatawid..ehrherhehrehr
hmmmm...naghahanap nga po ako ng bulb para dito na all weather...meron na rin pala...
thanks sir gary!!
noteworthy:angle bar lang naman po ang kailangan niyo for the mounting plus reinforcements sa bracketing kung hindi kayo secured....goodluck!
question po..
revoGSX: if you want it more to the right you can adjust it naman coz left to right and up/down ang pivot nun. If you want to see more on the side you need a fog lamp. Ganun ang beam pattern nun. As mentioned you have to install it below the bumper
