Projector headlights question

hi fellow tsikoters...

I just bought a 2nd hand corolla small body. my question is i noticed when

i opened the headlight hindi siya agad lumiliwanag. sabi ng friend ko ganun talaga kasi projector lamp. he showed me yung parang ballast na naka

connect sa gilid. so my question ganun ba talaga projector ? ilang watts ito

usually? mas malakas ba ito gumamit ng battery compared sa halogen ?

sa mga nagpakabit ng projector. is it necessary to increase amp of your alternator?

Projector is the housing lang sir. The thing you saw with the ballast is called HID. As far as i know, mas maliit po ang consumption nito - around 35w compared to regular halogens at 55w.

Correct me if I'm wrong here

ang napansin ko lang pag ON d sya agad liwanag have to wait pa. ganun ba talaga? mas gusto ko kasi yung kahit standard halogen lang.

yup, ganyan ang HID. your problem is not really related to projector HL.

yep what you have there is a set of plug and play hid's. cause for small body corolla, you cant find a projector housing for that not unless its retrofitted.

normal lang na mahina yung light pag turn on mo ng hid then it will warm up pa kasi. after warming up, dun mo lang mkikita yung max brightness niya at yung true color

mas light sa battery use compared sa standard halogen?

yung nabili ko kasi 2nd hand car napansin ko yung alternator rewind na? siguro

pina up yung ampere.
