need help regarding door light

naka "door" mode ba yung dome light mo?

if yes, baka madumi lang ang switch - clean with alcohol....

if this does not help, check the fuse (baka busted) sa fuse box.

Nailaw daw pag naka lagay sa ON.... diba isa lang Bulb non??


Baka po swich selector lang walang contact pag naka lagay sa Door..

Your dome light is wired series with your door switch (the same kind they use in the refrigerator lights switch). Find the one that is open, which should be easy with just plain hex head screw driver (for removing the screw) and simple VOM meter.

single lamp lng po un di ba? ive tried cleaning ung contacts ok nmn e. may door switch po sya on all doors mazda gen 2.5 sya. so pag open ung isa di iilaw kahit bukas ibang door? di ba may spring lng un pra body grounded?

kung nailaw sya pag naka lagay sa ON.. ok ang Bulb mo.. it might me something from swich selectos lang talaga baka loose contact lang yan pag naka select sa door... imposible naman na sira lahat ng micro swich mo sa doos apat na pinto hindi naman siguro sabay sabay masisira yan

switch yan dun sa light mismo, yung selector switch na off-door-on. sira na contact dun sa middle position. yun kasi 4 door switches naka-parralel lang lahat yun so hindi pwede masira lahat ng 4 switches and all 4 wires from the switch. the probability of all 4 switches and wires getting damage all at the same time is remote. the door switches connect the light to ground. yung selector switch connects the wires from the door switches to the light when in the middle position. the light is connected to a wire going to the fuse box. pag nasa "on" position the selector switch connects the light direct to ground. so since umiilaw pa pag nasa "on" wala sira sa wire going to the fuse box. ang sira sa middle position lang.

hindi ba pinalitan yang ilaw mo? kasi ganyan ang nangyari sa friend ko na nagpalit ng housing ng ilaw ang inilagay niya yun neon blue, pag nakalagay sa door at nagbukas ng kahit anong pinto hindi umiilaw pero kapag sa on nakabukas ang ilaw, ng i-check ko ang connection merong hindi nakalagay, kasi 2 wires lang ito, yung isa para sa on position at yung isa para sa door position, at yung mounting screw ay ang ground nito,

Sorry, I was looking at the wiring diagram for my truck and they are wired in parallel not series.

tulong naman, hindi din umiilaw yung door light ng car ko. meron po bang makakapag advise panu tangalin yung door light cover ng '95 corolla (AE110?)
need to check the contact point as advised above.

btw, the "door open" warning sa dash works, kaya yung contact point sa switch ang suspect ko.
