I don't really know the full story on this one. Someone was started and revved engine not realizing Evo was in gear (engine can only be started with the clutch depressed). When clutch pedal was let go, all hell broke loose. hehehehe.

Notice the checkered flags affixed to the antennas. Bagong uso ba ito? hehehehe.

in-gear, then depressed clutch to start tapos sabay REV para marinig yung makina. Nakalimutang naka gear :hihihi: kung hindi nya ni-REV yan, mamamatay ang makina at hindi sasalpok ng ganyan kabilis yan. nasa showroom kaya naka gear.

if it was a potential customer, he just wrecked his evo.
if it was a salesman, he just lost his job.

damn .. pero mura na makukuha yan, second hand na yan eh. :D

damage to the car actually doesn't look too bad. the showroom, on the other hand, is toast

fortunately enough, window shopper doesnt pay for the damages done...unless it was proven to be intentional. This is what we call 'liability insurance" by the car dealerships. And yes, the salesman who showed the car to the potential customer, is fired. :hihihi:

What dealership does is buy it from the insurance company and then rebuild it to use as a showcar or a promotional car or even sell it again at a lower price.

that's why i'm against releasing the evo to the US market. americans are dumb drivers! they're not really used to manual transmissions.
