Yup, as FrankDrebin pointed out, sealed beams won't help that much except when upgrading the whole housing and bulb kit. Meron na available na halogen headlight housing for L200 models. Clear lens then kabitan ng All Weather bulbs (90/120W output). Don't touch those adjustment screws yet.
Last time I asked it was 1,200 for each housing, Raybrig brand.
Suggestions to adjust the headlamps: This is how I usually do it.
1. Park your car on a level and straight street.
2. Adjust the Headlamps one at a time by covering the other headlamp to block the lightbeam.
3. Adjust the VERTICAL aim while at DIM position for a top of low beam aim of approximately 30 to 50 meters.
4. Switch to HIGH and verify high beam aim is not too high so that you can still illuminate the road just 20 meters or less ahead.
5. Switch back to DIM position and check the HORIZONTAL aim.
Normally, on the drivers side headlamp, at low beam or DIM position, the beam should stay in your lane staright ahead, and not crossing into the oncoming traffic.
on the passenger side, I normally would adjust it so as to illuminate the sidewalk as well.
6. Adjsut the other Headlamp Vertical aim as the first one.
I have an old van using sealed beam and I get good visibility at night, provided of course the oncoming vehicle does not use a blinding light or is at high beam. We need to educate a lot of drivers out there regarding road courtesy and how to use their headlamps and turn signal lamps.
