best bulb for fogs

mga sir..im planning to upgrade my bulbs.. my ride is a ford explorer 2001, im thinking na ilagay for my headlight is HID na low lang.. 8000k.. para medyo bluewish.. then for my fogs.. plan ko ilagay super yellow na bulb. ano kaya ok na bulb for my explo? yung super linaw sana sa gabi at dilaw na dilaw ang buga.. what brand and how much kaya ito? and last thing.. babagay kaya sa explo ko yung ganun set up? 8000k headlights.. then super yellow na fogs.. what do you think mga sir? btw i have a white explo... TIA!

Upgrade to Osram Night Breaker or Philipps Extreme Power halogen bulbs na lang kung hindi ka din mag upgrade ng projectors. Nakakasilaw lang yan sa kasalubong mo if stock reflectors pa din gamit mo since mataas pa height ng explorer

mababa naman ang tutok ng hl ko sir.. so wala naman magiging problema sa silawan.. pero ill think of that din.. since nagdadalawang isip dn ako with HID since sirain nga ito... sa fogs sir? may marerecomend ba kayo? yung super yellow sana...

Yup, consider other options first (ie. using better halogen bulbs). Kapag HID bulb ang nilagay sa stock reflector, nagiging sabog ang buga... irrelevant na kahit mababa ang alignment ng HL, nakakasilaw pa rin.

maganda daw yung brand na polarg kaso pricey. ang gamit ko ngayong solarzen brand 700+ pesos. btw ordinary bulbs mga ito. kung may budget ka pa retro ka.

For your headlights, retrofit talaga.

For the foglights, polarg, euroline or raybrig.

Kung babagay, ewan ko lang. Yung setup na yan, sooo JDM e. :hysterical:

Sa Rav4 ko gamit ko euroline pure yellow around 700 per pair. Malakas naman buga. Pure yellow din sa head lights pero ordinary bulbs lang.

Are your headlights Frosted or clear type na reflector?

Anyway, whether its frosted or not, your planned 8000k for your low beam wouldn't make any sense. Light would be scattered all over and the bluish beam would be very weak even if you try to compensate it with yellow fog lamps.
