Hello Tsikoteers. Please help in diagnosing the problem with my headlights.

Last week I lost my high beam. When I switch to high, it will not turn on. When I leave the high beam turned on, it would light up for a while then die all of a sudden. Two days ago, I lost the low beam. I left it turned on and it suddenly lit up by itself when the vehicle was running. Today, the low beam will not light up again even when I leave it turned on. I had no choice but to run with only park lights running.

I don't think the bulbs or the connections are busted because when I turn on my flasher (which I rarely use), both low and high beams work.

Any thoughts on how I can fix this? I am using an Isuzu pickup btw. Thanks.

don't know whats wrong but have you tried checking the fuses and relay? or it might be a loose connection only

tingin ko relay yung sa 1st poster.

jv: di normal yun. pero sa clock, normal yung hihina yung ilaw ng clock (and dash lights kung gauges mo yung mga bago na nakailaw lagi like Altis etc.) compared to naka off ang light.

But then again, the dimming should occur as soon as you turn on your park lights, not during high beam only.

check your battery and alternator or ground cables

Salamat sa reply. Tinanggal ko yung relay tapos nilinis ko mga connectors. Ayun, bumalik na low beam ko. Kaya lang, ayaw pa rin ang High beam. I checked one of the bulbs, mukhang ok pa naman yung high beam filament. Ipapa-trace ko na lang sa electrician yung linya. Baka nga may problema na ang wiring or switch. Salamat ulit.
