Hi guys, feedback naman sa BPI Insurance. They are at promo right now sa auto loan nila and it says that you should be tied up with that insurance until the period of your loan. What if I get 5 years loan then lock in ako sa kanila for that same period.

Please please feedback. Baka hindi rin maganda yung insurance nila.

My sales agent is proposing FLT PRIME Insurance Corporation. Please say something to it also.

    Thanks

ok naman BPI MS but the problem is if you'll get a 5year term. BAKA no choice ka sa 2nd year to 5th year mo if mataas ang insurance premium na ibigay sayo to cover your first year free insurance.

I am also thinking of BPI auto loan, their insurance costs around 2.5% while other are 1.9% of the insured amount. If you can get a waiver on the succeeding years then their auto loan is good. IMHO

Of course there will be hidden charges. But if they can show you now the premium for the next 5 years then
    you can better asses it.

In my opinion it is B.S.

Tama, better ask them to show you the premium for the next 5 years to have a heads up. Tsaka di pwedeng walang hidden charges yan kasi malulugi sila dun sa 1st year free insurance mo. On their current promo, are they giving 10% DP for a 1.75M worth of van? TIA

IMO, BPI MS is a better company than FLT. But the more important factor should be the reliability of your insurance agent.

hi, as per BPI, for a vehicle amounting P1068k, the free insurance amounts to about P26k. the succeeding years will be lower daw kasi the vehicle depreciates, which the remaining value of the vehicle becomes the basis of the insurance premium. for budget purposes, you can assume the same insurance premium during the first year

Yes, I also checked earlier and the BPI MS rates gradually decrease over the years.
Insurance for Montero Non VGT AT will only cost around 27K as per BPI and BPI MS quotation.

What I'm not sure is their mention of Registration "Inclusive with Chattel Mortgate"

Did anybody in the board ever had this kind of deal with BPI Auto Loan?
Is it true that the LTO Registration (around 11K) is already paid through the 18K quoted chattel mortgage?

i'm also leaning towards BPI for my auto loan, actually approve na yung request ko.

I also saw chattel mortgage in the quotation so id like to know the answer on the above question. thanks
