    Is this covered?

    policy states:

"Damage to tires, unless the Scheduled Vehicle is damaged at the same time"

Does this mean that if my cars body is not damaged, I cannot claim insurance for the damaged tires?

Not covered. I had that happened to me one time sa Ortigas. There was this deep pothole at the corner of Robinsons/Crown hotel and I had 6 passengers and the tire exploded on impact.

    yes, i think so.
or something that is related to the tire damage like suspension parts, mags.

hay, pinas, sana change is really coming!

The problem is when you file a case vs Philippine government baka at the end ikaw pa ang pagbayarin, kasi kung manalo ka mas madami ang mag file ng case at wala ng maiiwan sa pondo ng government para sa mga corrupt.

the state cannot be sued without its consent.

go after the local government unit that has territorial jurisdiction over the potholed road that caused your injury because LGUs under RA 7160 are not immune from suits. see teotico vs city of manila.

My car fell into an open manhole several years ago (Civic FD). My insurance covered it... Tire, rim, lower control arm, sub-frame, strut/damper, and other misc. items. Honda estimated it at around 60-70k. My insurance approved it.

I believe I only paid 4k as own-damage participation fee.

maybe thats because kasama ibang parts. unlike sa TS na tire lang talaga.

i think the wisdom here is they dont want to cover the parts na nauubos, tulad ng gulong, langis, coolant, etc. unless kasama sya sa damage ng ibang parts which means di pa dapat talaga masira yung gulong pero nasira.

Thanks po sa mga info. Yes, correct. Tire lang nadamage sa akin.

Im now asking bridgestone if covered ba to ng warranty nila. They said they will bring the tire sa main office nila for inspection.
