Fully paid na kasi car loan ko. Car is 2nd hand 2003 model. Does it makes sense to get insurance for it? Pansin ko kasi mas mababa ang participation ng insurance company as the car gets older. I know you can't tell when accident would happen but sulit ba talaga? Why not save na lang just in case may mangyari?

    What's your opinion?

pataas din nang pataas ang depreciation nyan.. so kung say may damage worth 20T.. babayad ka deductible.. tapos less depreciation pa.. so baka ang i cover lang nang insurance dyan eh 10T na lang tapos sayo pa din yung 10T..

depende din sa car at gamit mo kasi kung medyo pricey at daily use for me dapat may insurance ka pero say nasa worth below 300k na lang ang value you may opt not to get an insurance at depende din sa makukuha mo insurer kasi meron yung fix ang participation at meron din naman depende sa damage st papalitan ang participation mo

you have no choice if you want to get your car registered.

so, i suggest, think about your family also.

For a 2003 model car, kung ang quote sayo ng comprehensive ay 5-6K, I think pwede na un.

Depends din. If you opt for surplus or replacement parts, you don't have to carry the depreciation if the car is somewhat old.

IMO, go for comprehensive insurance pa rin.

    Thanks guys for your input.

I think nga kuha na lang ako ulit ng comprehensive insurance. Ano bang maganda ang serbisyo? Pangit pala sa People's General base sa isang thread. Try ko din basahin yung isang thread about recommended insurance.

Better also to keep your insurance active. As the car ages, some companies don't insure them anymore unless its a recurring insurance renewal. Our 1994 Galant VR is still comprehensively insured as we continue to renew it.

Hirap pag walang insurance minsan kahit maingat ka may accident pa din kasi iba di nagiingat.

Should I get insurance for my car?
