I am buying a taxi, i want to know what are the legal process that i should undergo para hind i ako maloko nung magbebenta, tips naman mga bro. thanks

hi bros..may additional lang ako sa query ni aka cj..coz im planning to buy a nissan urvan 21 seater..paki-advise nmn ako mga bro ng insights on this business kse bago lng me dto..ano ang mga ups and downs ng ganitong business ang the requirements to process the franchise..mraming salamat..

pros and cons? ang alam ko malaki talaga kita nyan. ang cons, pag colorum ka, yare ka. so dapat may necessary permits and franchises ka. isa pang pro, is maganda sana kung ikaw ang magdrive mismo para solo mo kita. ang con, pag di ka pwede mag drive (e.g. may sakit ka, etc.), wala kang kita.

for the franchise, may application form lang yan. may mga clearances na kailangan dun like NBI, Police, Barangay. Pag na approve yung franchise mo, then you will go to LTO to convert the papers from private to public use plus change of plate numbers. Tapos based on the rules of LTFRB, dapat i-pintura mo yung LTFRB permit sa body nung vehicle.

are you just buying the vehicle, or are you buying the vehicle and the franchise? may pagkakaiba ang procedures nyan.

Yng car tska yng franchise, sbi yng franchise hnggng 2011, ano ibig sbhin nun? di na pwd yng taxi, expired na?

pag used taxi binili mo talaga dyan franchise free na yung kotse.. pwede mo pa-extend yun.. hangang 2011 ang effectivity ng franchise.. iba yun sa yearly LTO...

pero un nga iba pag kotse sa franchise.... pare pag indicated na kotse w/ franchise, lumalabas na free na ung kotse.

yes, pero ang alam ko, the franchise should still be transfered under your name, so there is a separate process sa LTFRB.

yung sa kotse/taxi mismo, yung normal process sa LTO.

make sure that during the process, everything is covered with the necessary deed of sales. as much as possible, dapat hiwalay ang DOS nung oto tsaka nung franchise. tapos yung mga dapat na i-turnover na documents like yung franchise papers, original OR/CR, yung meter documents, etc.
