December 8th, 2017 09:44 PM #2Depends on your location and the availability of parts, as well as shops that can cater to ypur ride after it expires, IMO. Watch out for high mileage owners and what components are likely to break down. Are those worth the additional warranty

Planning to get this for my Civic on its 6month PMS.
Pero mahal ng quote sakin, 20k (Honda Q. Ave)! Sa iba I'm seeing 12-14k for the same unit..
Any recommended dealer on where to purchase? Pricing is not standard apparently.

July 31st, 2018 11:56 PM #7is this 2 year extended warranty, an official honda phils product?
or is it a casa product?
what are the conditions?
how does it differ from the industry-standard 3 year warranty?Last edited by dr. d; August 1st, 2018 at 12:01 AM.

August 1st, 2018 12:27 AM #9i am not familiar with the honda warranty.
does one have to pay for service and consumables during the pms?
if no, then that 2 year extended warranty seems worth it.
but if one has to pay for the service and consumables during pms, then we are just paying 12K for "justin case something goes wrong".Last edited by dr. d; August 1st, 2018 at 12:34 AM.

Walang "free" unlike the Yojin.
Pero di naman ganun kamahal ang PMS ng Honda and it's only twice a year.
Major PMS at 20k/40k kms is less than PHP20k.
I'm particularly interested to avail this since many things can go wrong with the car. I did the same for my laptop (AppleCare). Mukang value for money kase mas mahal pa actually yung AppleCare eh!
The touch screen head unit, the digital instrument cluster, electronic parking brake, smart entry/push start system, etc.
In the Civic FC FB groups, madami na din nagpalit ng EPS that costs 60k if out of warranty.
Also yung headlight, since it's full LED, one side will cost you around 30k if in case just one LED goes out since it's the sealed type and not user replaceable.
I'm not worried sa Engine and Tranny, pero those small things above will cost lots of Peso if it fails out of warranty. And I'm planning to keep this car for 5 years and immediately sell it after the extended warranty expires.
