In your experience po sino po ba ang the best and can be relied on, yung accommodating at hindi ka bibigyan ng problema when it comes to claiming. Offers low premium and good package ...Salamat po sa lahat ng magsa-suggest.

Here are 3 things to consider, in order of priority:

    1. Agent - Make sure that your agent is honest and is knowledgable about insurance and can handle your claim when the time comes. Don't get from a bank, casa, or any 3rd party financial institution or a sub-agent (unless the sub-agent guarantees you that he knows the agent personally and will introduce you to him). Getting from these parties will most likely make you have to do the follow up yourself in case there's a claim. do you think the bank manager will assist you in the processing of claims? Getting from a casa is ok when you only have own damage claims. However, if it involves a third party, then most likely you have to deal with the problem yourself.

    2. Insurance company: The stability of the insurance company is likewise improtant, especially if youre insuring a mega million pesos worth of property. However, in car insurance, all you need really is a good agent who can squeeze out a claim for you even in the smallest company. Besides, a good agent wont accredit himself with a fly-by-night company. So if you trust your agent, then you can trust the companies he's handling.

    3. Premium: Dont choose where to insure just because it is the cheapest. Get to know the agent and the insurance company first. Remember even if the premium is the lowest but if the time comes and you wont be able to claim, then its just like you threw away your money for nothing.

Some companies I've overheard (and some ive actually experienced) which have good claims record: Federal Phoenix, Phil Charter, Chartis, Asia, etc..

I do represent a couple of them, hehe..

    Ok, now you know..

Experienced this, however I wont recommend Federal Phoenix, just had a claim with them and it has been a month after the accident but no settlement yet up to now. I'm still waiting for the claims department to process the LOA, I have been calling them, sending email but I guess its their process or I just wasn't so lucky with my agent. Actually I don't have an agent I just called the number in their website and I got an insurance from them. Another problem was that my previous insurance policy was better than what I got from Federal or I think what the agent gave me, perhaps she noticed that I was new in getting insurance, the reason why she gave me the 1% of total insured and non casa claims. My insurance before was fixed deductible of 3k and for casa Repair. I regret having changed my insurance to Federal Phoenix. I should have continued my previous insurance. Perhaps my fault too I just submitted my previous insurance with Federal Phoenix and was thinking they will give me the same policy from my previous just add the AOG I said, and I did not pay attention to much on the details of the insurance only until a month ago when I need to use it. I learned my lesson the expensive way.

I agree with what was said above get a good agent. Don't just get insurance from anybody.. be sure to know him personally or at least someone with first hand experience would recommend that agent.. hassle kasi pagmayaccident na and ang hirap magclaim and to think that's the very reason why you got an Insurance to make it worry free and hassle free..

Btw, I paid almost 20k for my insurance including AOG from Federal Phoenix.

Thank you all for you kind contribution on the topic....but i must ask, how would i know or how can i be sure that the agent i got is really good? if this is my first time to apply for an insurance i will not have any means of knowing except of course if it was highly recommended by long time user.

As bro Tholits said, i don't want to go through an expensive mistake.

So, is there anybody can really suggest one good agent? I really do appreciated your feedback.

    Thanks Tsikoteers...
