Best and Worst Auto Insurance Provider

I need help in choosing a company for Auto insurance.

My car is insured by Chartis. However, I just received a letter that Chartis already stopped issuing auto insurance. It will only honor those that have been written before December 2012 until it's expiration.date. My auto insurance is expiring soon and I am looking for a good company to switch to.

I understand that most big companies don't differ much in premium prices but I do not mind paying for a slightly higher premium as long as the service is good. I need some feedback on which companies do not give a hard time when it comes to claims, ease of payment is also a consideration. My payment and insurance used to be picked up and delivered at my convenience. I don't know if this is common practice (?).

I'd appreciate those that could share their experiece with their auto insurance provider so I would know which ones to consider and avoid.

Northwest Insurance sa Binondo mabilis ang approvals sa claims. Yan insurance ng nakabangga sakin, walang hassle transactions sa kanila, mas natagalan pa ko makipagdeal sa casa na nagrepair ng auto ko.

Having a good insurance agent is important. You need to find one (through recommendations, etc..) They are the ones who will decide where to have the vehicle repaired and will be the go to person for any concerns you might have. There are some agents who want nothing but profit so they will have your vehicle repaired in fly by night talyers.

As for the insurance company, I use Prudential Guarantee Insurance. Lucky enough not to have made any claims for the past seven years. So I can't really say much about how their claims are like.

Federal Pheonix is ok (used on our FD) and Standard Insurance (used on my Vios) is ok too. BPI-MS din (this is what SG uses AFAIK)

Malayan Insurance. Napabilis yung pagprocess at pagclaim ko nung "nagfollow" up ako thru email sa cust service nila. Twice na ako nagclam and at both instances naman tumupad sila sa contract.

federal phoenix din ang insurance ng mga sasakyan namen. mabilis mag-claim, although isang beses pa lang kame nakapag-claim.

oriental assurance hasn't let us down so far.

3 years ago a motorcycle driver banged into my ride when he went against the flow of a one way road. after getting the poice report, i just coordinated w/ oriental assurance through the phone and through emails and everything was taken cared of by them. their accredited repair shop was the hyundai casa near sm southmall so the quality of work was superb
