Feedback on Prudential Guarantee and Assurance Inc (thru BDO)

Hi guys!

Any feedback on this insurance being offered by BDO?
We got a car loan from BDO and the first year MAPFRE insurance is about to expire. BTW, we got this MAPRFE insurance for free except the AON as part of the deal.

Anyway, we also got quotation from two other companies within our area but BDO's offer is way lower and we are inclined to accept it barring any serious concerns. So here are the details:

Prudential (BDO Insurance Brokers): Total Premium - Php19,258.67
Coverage: Php990K
Own Damage Theft: Php990
VTPL/Bodily Injury: Php300
VTPL/Property Damage: Php300K
Auto PA (Php75K/pax) :Free
Acts of God: Covered
TPL: Not covered

Fortune General: Total Premiun - Php27,982.97

Own Damage Theft: Php990
VTPL/Bodily Injury: Php200
VTPL/Property Damage: Php200K
Auto PA (Php75K/pax) :Php510
Acts of Nature: Ph990K
TPL: Not covered

Planters Bank: Total Premium - PHP 24,503.80

OWN DAMAGE/THEFT 990,000.00
PROPERTY DAMAGE 200,000.00
BODILY INJURY 200,000.00
ACTS OF NATURE 990,000.00
DEDUCTIBLE: 3,000.00


We have a local MAPFRE agent but I assume their premium will be in the range of Fortune and Planters Bank.
So you can see how significantly lower BDO's offer is besides the fact we can pay it in three installments.

Should we go for it?

If BDO gave you your insurance package then most likely their insurance brokers (BDOI) will cover you as well. In the event of an accident BDOI will assert your claim regardless of w/c company was assigned to cover your vehicle because this improves your continued business with them.

Yup. I actually prefer them when getting my insurance thru BDOI.

Mabilis naman mag-respond sa mga claims ko (had 2 claims for the past 6 years from them).

wala namang issue dyan kay Prudential Guarantee..... reputable naman sya.
