Status of vehicle loan

Hello,

Is there a way to find out from a bank the status of a certain vehicle if it is fully paid or not?

I called the bank but they need to talk to the registered owner of the loan/vehicle.

Problem is owner just died a few weeks ago

Will it help if go to the lto where it was registered?

Please help

actually, LTO cannot help, specially if the car is still encumbered.
the only one who can answer your question is the bank.
if the registered owner died, you have to show proof that the vehicle was sold to you.

Yeah. +1 on this. You have to show to the bank the proof that you are authorized to view his loan account.

nung araw nung no-read-no-write pa yung matatanda madaming nalipat na land titles sa finger print na galing sa malamig na bangkay

bank lang nga makapag-confirm kung fully paid yung loan. kasi yung sa LTO pwedeng naka-mark na "encumbered" yung CR pero baka hindi pa lang na-clear yung chattel. present your deed of sale to the bank and ask them.
