I bought a 2nd hand nissan exalta yr 2000 model. I wanted to know kung may alam kayong car insurance company that will still insure this year (since this year marks 11th year)? Please provide website/contact information if you know any.

Try People's General Insurance. My cousin's 1996 Civic and 1992 Sentra were insured by this company (comprehensive).

Any feedback on people's general insurance? Are they any good? I'll send them an email, and find out. Hopefully they can still insure. Quick question, my car is in bad need of a paint job - do you think I should have it insured now or after the paint job? I'm planning to have a washover.

Pwede pa naman. Pero youre right a lot of insurance companies do not insure old models unless they are already insured with them for a long time. There are more claims kasi with old models. I'm sure you are a good person coz even if your car needs a paint job badly, you do not think like what some other unconscientious people do. They pretend to get involved in "accidents" so that those old parts can be replaced and the car will get a new coat of paint. Kaya we cant blame the insurance companies sometimes for being strict kasi there are some people out there with bad intentions at nadadamay ang lahat sa kalokohan ng iilan..
