Pwede yan pogi basta may power of attorney duly notarized ng ph embassy kung saan siya currently working. Mas madali kung kukuha kayo ng auto loan sa bank kung saan siya nagpapadala ang remittance.

Yes, your friend can still avail of an auto loan even if he's out of the country. If he is married and his wife is here in the country, then he can make his wife as the principal applicant, and your friend as the co-maker (spouse will automatically be the co-maker of married applicants).

It's possible for banks to approve the loan if your friend doesn't have any bad financial record, court cases and the likes. His account will be approved as well if validated that he has enough money or has enough capability to pay for the loan.
