if you got your insurance from your dealer or from the financing bank usually 1 to 4 weeks but if issued by your preferred agent the bank needs a copy of your policy prior sa release meaning you can have your copy also.

    Ganito po ang nangyayari.

Once you or dealer gives notice to your insurance agent, in a form of PRO FORMA INVOICE. (ito po yon
    birth certificate ng sasakyan niyo)

The underwriter issues a Certificate of Cover to the Bank. 1 page na papel po ito containing details
    of your PRO FORMA INVOICE.

Now this Certificate of Cover is individually signed by a underwriter. Once it is signed, insured na kayo.
This will be scanned and sent to the bank.

Now your Account Officer in the bank when he or she receives this file and sees it on his laptop or desk top.
Will print it, initial it, and call your dealer to release your car.

Now the whole process takes around 1-2 hours. Pag may problem sa internet connection etc, it will take a day.

The PRINTED Insurance Policy follows, first in first out.

Once it runs out of paper, then they sort. 3 days to 30 days nasa iyo na copy nyo.

    .......

Kung maaga ninyo na i submit ang pro forma invoice, like 3days ahead
then ma ready na agad ang policy.

By tradition pag sabi ng Agent ninyo na insured na kayo then insured na kayo by 12:00noon of the day.
