Meron me 2007 avanza kinuha sa Toyota Alabang...

Kumuha ako ng People's General insurance ... may binigay na policy un agent and acknowledgement receipt... bro acknowledgment receipt lng kasi sabi nun agent once na mabayaran i-issue un official receipt .. nabayaran ko na in full un insurance last december so kinulit ko un agent for the OR madaming excuses hinde pa daw dumaan sa accounting .. idedeliver na daw hanggang more than one month na wala pa din OR

    Salamat bro!

Reklamo ka Insurance Commission. They'll ask you for a sworn statement and IIRC, a statement from a wintess na nagpapatunay na nagbayad ka ng premium. Pwede mo rin siguro reklamo sa PIRA (Philippine Insurers and Reinsurers Assiciation), yung parang "adminstering/governing body" ng mga non-life insurance companies.

Dati akong insurance agent (life and non-life) and sad to say eh marami talagang ahente na ganyan.

Sad to say but the insurance industry attracts the wrong kinds of people.
Meron agent talaga at meron fake na agent. The only protection you can
have is to pay in checks directed to the insurance co. Mas grabe pa ang situation ngayon in my opinion since the casa is already acting as agents.

pa remitance dahil they are trying to protect their market. That is how it is
kaya tumatagal ang claim. And it is very difficult to compete with this bogus agents, pambihira in 15 minutes nakakapag issue ng policy while
I will have to personally appear before an underwriter
everytime all the time I will waive charges for Acts of God cover.

The most you can do is appear before the Insurance Commision.

Hirap talaga damned if you do and damned if you dont.

If you buy direct sa insurance co mahal, pag sa agent naman saan ka
maghahanap?

Pero agents are bonded dapat so dapat i honor nila yon provisional receipt.

insurance agent. Hindi ko naman alam kung sino sila. This month naman

Ungas diba?

Bale pang apat yon sa akin.

better go to the insurance commission. agents should have their license to be legal. otherwise, pwedeng kasuhan pa sila.

Teka, observation lang. Lapsed na rin yung policy niya, di ba? 1 year lang naman ang coverage ng comprehensive, right? It was issued in 2007, eh 2009 na ngayon. At least, from the way the story was constructed, that was my understanding. Not unless, na-renew na pala yung policy.

Mahirap sigurong mag-claim diyan.

Free agent? Labo. All legal agents should have a license from the IC. I had one. Either yung licensed agent gets the full commission tapos bininigyan na lang nila ng percentage yung "free agent" or the "free agent" gets the full commission while the licensed agent (kung saan sa name nya pinasok yung policy) will have an overriding commission.

It's not uncommon for insurance agencies (not insurance companies) nag pagtakpan yung mga erring agents nila. Seen it with my own eyes as an insurance agent for 8 years and as an guy who worked for a couple of insurance companies for 13 years (collectively). Minsan pa nga, may kasabwatan yung erring agent dun sa loob ng insurance company. Since nasa IT ako nun, madalas akong lapitan ng ilang bugok na insurance agents asking me kung pwede ko daw kalikution yung computer records to reflect na nagremit na sila ng premium - sila daw bahala sa akin.

As for the insurance commission, here's their address:

    1071 United Nations Ave.,
    Ermita Manila, Philippines

    Good luck.
