Hehehe take it easy there. They are not obligated to give anyone a 95 octane E10. Well soon enough their XCS will become E10 so there goes your 95 octane E10. Their Xtra Unleaded which used to be the regular 93 octane is now E10 thus their E10 is just 93 octane.

The Biofuels Act requires oil companies to use biofuels in all "liquid fuels for motors and engines sold in the Philippines." All gasoline sold in the country must contain at least 5 percent ethanol by February 2009. By 2011, the mandated blend can go up to 10 percent—a potential market of 594 MMly (157 MMgy) of fuel ethanol. This figure is expected to increase by approximately 30 MMly liters per year (7.9 MMgy), according to the Philippines Department of Energy. The increased ethanol production is supported by the increase in registered vehicles, which is growing at an average rate of 5.83 percent per year, according to the Department of Transport and Communication.

IKAW?

Go for higher octane if youre driving what is considered a 'performance' car, else just stick with the regular 93 level. Or better yet follow the car manufacturer's recommended octane level.

heh heh. why, is it illegal? as my favorite female lawyer says, "sue me!" caveat emptor, ika nga.
you ask a gasboy a question that even the petroleum engineer dare not answer, a question better answered by the company bean counters?
lastly, just cross over to the other gas station if you don't like the product. no big deal... use your wallet to show them your displeasure!
errr. ano bang kotse mo, 12RT100? american V8 409? 5R?? air-cooled flat 4??? i drive a japanese diesel ii 2.5 (indirect injection)... heh heh.

If their high octane isn't E10 anymore... all the better! Nothing performs as well as pure gasoline... adding ethanol simply allows gas companies to advertise their fuels as being higher octane despite the reduced energy content. Non-ethanol gasoline of the same octane will still give you better economy and more power. (In cases where an ethanol fuel gives you more, it's likely that the pure gas you were using previously was too low octane for your engine).

Besides... like 1D4LV says... if you don't like it... change brands... I don't use Petron or Shell in my Lynx, anymore, and I buy diesel for the Crosswind anywhere I can get it...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Petron E10 octane 95 now ginawang 93 na lang
