    I can safely say it probably does not work... Octane booster? Hydro? Labo naman nyan. Octane can only be increased generally if you use fuel additives. Do you have a link to the product page or a description of the thingie?

    Does the *inventor* even know how a REAL flux generator works? :bwahaha:

    HYDRO-OCTANE BOOSTER

    Hydrooctane booster with electromagnetic flux generator and catalytic converter can reduce emission by 50% on the average, and reduce fuel consumption without sacrificing on power. It makes the engine burn fuel more efficiently, eliminating wasted fuel back-wash. It has no moving parts and its permanent electro-magnetic field is warranted for life as a permanent system in your fuel line.

    * Features: Works on diesel or unleaded gas engines
    * Easy to install
    * Maintenance free
    * No moving parts
    * Benefits: 10% to 20% savings on city driving or up to 40% on highway driving
    * Smooth engine starts and running
    * Clean combustion system – no carbon/varnish build up

    Hydro-Octane Booster US$ 199.50 (inclusive of express delivery charge)

    to always yummy: I live near Proj6 too.

    hahaha. I also saw that in Cherry Cong. Ang kukulit pa ng mga tindero. "sinabi nang di ako bibili!!"
    They are like those FAMILY FIRST agents na makukulit sa malls. Binibilisan ko ngang maglakad para di ako abutan.

    u said it pa....ganun pala dun, para bang ahente ng "family 1st"? oh well, kasama ko naman si misis, susungitan din nya sila..

    for me, wala pang additives/gas-saving devices na napabilib ako, except ung pinaka-original blend ng pertua..sayang at nabenta na ung name sa kung sinong money-monger na businessman..kay di na effective kaysa noon..

    So that is the reason pala kung bakit hindi na kamukha ng dati ang results ng pertua treatment ko. The best yung original dahil hindi mo nga mamamalayan na nakasindi pala ang makina mo sa sobrang tahimik. Now, walang change sa engine. Maingay pa rin despite the treatment.

    since you were the one who posted this tony article, and you are a moderator here, id like to invite you to come to our headoffice in QC (near ABS-CBN Compound), so we can show to you the principles and theories behind it, and likewise, so that you can get to meet HOBs humble inventor, Mr. Glenn Castillo. bring along a few of your friends if you like.

    the AVP and the flash demo i uploaded can only do so much, actual demo is always the best.

    tell me your convenient date and time (early next week?), we'll make sure it'll be worth your while.... hoping for your confirmation on this one. cheers!

    from the description in the diagram above and cutting through all the marketing blabber... the device is basically a fuel heater. It's designed to "preheat" the fuel (gasoline or diesel) before reaching the combustion chamber. It's effect is to increase the volatility of the fuel at the point of combustion.

    Example, cold diesel fuel will not catch fire but hot diesel fuel will catch fire easily.

    I have read other versions of this type of device where the heat is derived from the exhaust pipe. A length of copper tube is wrapped around the exhaust pipe and is connected to the fuel system. The problem with this specific design layout is the fuel tends to get overheated and boil, causing the engine to run erratically and even stall (due to bubbles of fuel vapor in the fuel line).

    Anyway, from what I have gathered, this gadget can improve milage but only marginally (5% or less).

    I assume people will ask, "Is this device worth buying?"

    Vehicle Type - Radiator Hose Diameter - Price
    Cars / AUV ________- 1.25" - P7,500
    Cars / AUV / SUV ___- 1.50" - P7,500
    SUV ______________- 1.75" - P8,500
    Trucks / Bus _______ - 2.00" - P8,500
    Large Trucks / Bus __- 2.50" - P9,500

    My answer, no... it will take years to get back your investment.

    if that's the case, then pwede yan siguro for diesel cars running on a veggie oil/diesel mix in cold countries. the veggie oil tends to produce lumpy running if in cold countries because it solidifies/tries to more easily than diesel.

    hehehehe...mapakita nga sa nasa pajero owners' club UK. heheh.

    wandering a bit ot...i saw their booth too at cherry congressional (lapit din lang kami dun) but di na ako lumapit, nagmamadali ako umuwi to rest after buying a gift for a friend (napagdisketahan pa ako ng salesladies ng perfume). hehehehehe...

    We very much welcome all the experts here to see us in the office. Bring it on!

    Hmmmm ... pero what's in it for you?
    * If you're happy, you'll buy and maybe you'll become a dealer also.
    * If you're not happy with the discussion, and the BS that you thought it was, was validated, then you've proven that magaling ka talaga.

    Typical construction for this device will look like a section of metal tubing (sized to fit the radiator hose of your car) and some copper tubing coiled tightly around the metal tube.

    Basically anyone handy with a metal saw and pipe bender can build one in an hour or so. Not worth the P7500 to P9500 asking price.

    add this to your list... a reasonable price for the gadget so that the ROI time will not take the entire useful life of the vehicle, in which it is installed in.

    Unfortunately I am both typically busy and rather camera shy & not given to personal appearances. Maybe I might visit your booth at either mentioned events (rallycross & carshow).

    BTW, did I guess the gadget's function correctly?
