    Hi Fellow Tsikoters,

I have a 15 year old corolla as my daily driver. Cheap to maintain, dependable, decent fuel economy, around 5-6 city driving. I absolutely love this car pero since naguulan this past few weeks nabaha siya at nasira. I'm thinking of buying a bigger car kasi 2-3 feet ang baha samin pag umulan ng malakas. Kaya lang natatakot ako kasi everyone is saying that it's really expensive to run and maintain. I know it will not be as cheap as a corolla to run pero sobrang mahal ba talaga maintainance at running cost ng expedition? Here are some of the myths na narinig ko about the ford expedition.

    - Someone once told me that the fuel economy of an expedition is 1-2km/l city driving depende sa traffic.
-Astronimical daw ang presyo ng parts. Even more expensive than a honda to maintan
    -Palaging sira, Lemon.

Holy ^#$*! totoo ba lahat to?

as much as I want to buy a more economical diesel pick-up/suv, di kaya ng budget ko. Naisip ko gagamitin ko nalang yung sasakyan twice a week or pagumuulan instead of every day para makatipid ng konti.

    thanks in advance guys

Magkano ba budget mo? Ikaw lang ba gagamit?

Madami kasing suv na mura naman i-maintain. Like vitara, jimny, samurai

BTW, I just want to make it clear that this is more of a need than a desire na magpapogi. My folks told me na wag bumili ng expedition kasi "nagyayabang" daw ako but the truth is kailangan ko ng pambaha dahil sa trabaho.

as crazy_boy said, 3 km/L ang realistic, ang liit pa rin. x2 or x3 na yun sa ibang SUV or pick-up. maybe base model pick-ups? like strada, hilux, dmax. ranger has a 800mm wading depth daw. great choice pero more than 1M. tapos mahaba pa pila. baka wala ka gamitin in the mean time.

    Need ba?

Suzuki Samurai or Suzuki Vitara MT. Lift it lagyan mo ng snorkel, tapos ang problema.

    Baha? Sisiw.

    May sukli ka pa.

Yup. Dami nagooffroad niyan, esp. Samurai.

Good tires. Para kahit anong weather, go lang. Kahit anong terrain, no problem.

Nasa 9500 yung hyperflow brand snorkel + install
