Gasoline : 60K per year or 5K per month at the price of 40-41 pesos per liter.
Insurance : 20.2K for the second year.
Maintenance : 10K estimate for the second year All Casa
10K pms - 3.5K
15K pms - 2.3K
20K pms scheduled this month - estimate is 4.5K
Toll Fee : 3.6K per year or 300 per month during weekends. Will spike up kung may byahe pa Manila or Batangas City.
Cleaning Tools (Carwash, cloth, wax, glass cleaner, etc) : 1.5 K - might be over estimated since di naman to nauubos in 1 year.
Parking : 1.2K per year for some occasional pay parking. Free parking si wife sa office nya.

agree, at totoong may mga tao talagang atat lang magkaroon ng sasakyan kahit hindi naman talaga nila kailangan. yun bang poporma lang at feeling luxurious na kung sakaling magkaroon na ng auto.

So much truth on that first sentence. I remember a former officemate who can barely make ends meet pero bumili pa ng kotse to impress a girl, but I would say a great investment dahil napasagot sya si tisay, lol. Then a friend tried to convinced me to use my downpayment money for a house to buy a second hand car. Sya bumili, ako nag down sa bahay, sya nagre rent pa din up to this day, ako tapos ng magbayad.

1. Accidents - although mitigated by insurance, kung wala kang sasakyan wala kang maaaksidente.
2. Free Rides - how can you say no to your sibling or byenan na hirap mag commute sa malayong lugar dahil sa katandaan o physical condition. Ang masaklap sa iyo lahat ng gastos like gas, toll, and parking tapos tutulugan ka lang sa byahe.
