Hi All,
Just want to ask from you guys If I can load "High-Octane" and Unleaded Gas to old sedan cars like Toyota Corolla 1990 Model?
I am just worried the car engine's compatibility with these gas types.
Thanks

NO. the engine might still have ordinary valves and valve seats installed. those old valves were not designed for unleaded gas. only cars manufactured 1991 and later (for philippines sales ok, not US or japan. lam nyo naman iba specs ng engine sa pinas pre-1991) have the valves and valve seats required for using unleaded gasoline.
however if the engine was overhauled recently and you are sure that the valves and valve seats are new production designed for use with unleaded gas, then no problem. but you have to be sure (check the part numbers listed in the receipt and ask toyota).
why, may nagbebenta sa iyo? try looking for 1991 or later cars na lang kaya.

Thanks for the input. I will do your recommendation.
Sa akin tong car na to pero bagong overhaul lang last week. Luma na nga eh. Tsk tsk tsk. Break in pa rin sya ngayon.
Thanks ulit dude.
You can load higher octane fuel as long as it is of the unleaded variety. Don't worry, Blaze, Velocity, XCS, and other hi-po fuels sold locally are unleaded.
Having lead or not is independent of being high octane or not. There are also low octane as well as high octane leaded gasoline during the olden days.
