Gas-saver inventor flies
to US to solicit support

THE Filipino inventor, Pablo Planas, flew out of the country over the weekend for a meeting with California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Planas said he will first meet Schwarzenegger before going to the White House to meet US President George W. Bush, the governor’s fellow Republican Party member.

Planas said he will meet with the members of the Filipino-American community in Los Angeles, California, before he makes his bid to discuss the capability of the KSTC with Bush.

California is one of the states that has the most number of Filipino settlers and this would help him represent himself in going to the White House.

While in the US, Planas said his hosts have scheduled a courtesy call to Schwarzenegger and Bush in his latest attempt to make his invention globally acknowledged.

He will present his gadget, along with testimonials and formal tests to the other White House officials.

Planas is hopeful that the US government would give his invention value and importance in his hopes to participate in solving the global problem on the high cost of fuel and air pollution.

Planas’ invention, the Khaos Super Turbo Charger (KSTC) that reduces by 50 percent the consumption of gas and lessen smoke emissions if installed to a vehicle, had been introduced nationwide in the Philippines last year before it became known to other countries from as far as Europe.

“With the success of my invention in the local and foreign market, I am optimistic that the other super power countries like the US would consider the KSTC in fighting pollution and better fuel management solutions. If this meeting pushes through as planned, the Philippines will be put on the global stage as a serious hub of Science and Technology in Asia and the world,” Planas said.

The inventor clarifies that he will not go to sell his device to the US government but just to seek their support to spread to the world that the solution to the spiraling oil prices and deteriorating air pollution problem is here in the Philippines and that is his invention.

At present, the Inven*tion*haus International Corp. (IIC) the company that helped Planas reproduce and market the KSTC, has 18 international dealers and more than a hundred in the Philippines.

The invention of Planas for gasoline vehicles guarantees 15 to 50 percent saving on fuel consumption and offers zero pollution because of zero unburned fuel.

Planas’ air-bleed technology has gone through rigid testing from various government agencies like the Department of Energy (DoE), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Department of Transportation and Communications (DoTC), Land Transportation Office (LTO). It was also tested in Taiwan through the Taiwan Automotive Research Testing Center, among others.
