Kaya ka nga nag-diesel,- (isa sa mga dahilan) para mura ang fuel (vs. gasolina).

Tapos, heto ang Petron at ilalapit ang presyo ng diesel sa gasolina in the altar of selling it as a turbo diesel? Ano sila? Hilo?.... :twak::bwahaha:

Unfortunately for sure dami maloloko yan once it is sold in more stations. And once the other oil companies notices it, they will surely follow.

kung sasabihin nilang mas mababa ang sulfur content nito at mas mataas ang euro rating kahit hanggang 3 man lang at hindi katulad nung euro 3/4 na binebenta nila ngayon.....why not?

pero based daw dun sa sinasabi nung gasboy...hehe...may additives lang...so malamang parang techron D lang yan...

I guess we will see the "selling point" of the new diesel fuel once the media push for their new product gets underway.

If it's a cleaner diesel (less carbon, etc), that should be a big plus for people to use it.

^^ yup if it has less sulfur content and much cleaner why not pero kung kaunting additive tapos change of product name for the sake of commercial gain by the oil company... uh-um yung dating diesel na lang

Let see kung ano ba talaga ang pinagkaiba ng turbo diesel compared sa regular blend nila

If it is supposed to be cleaner; why not tell us how clean?

    Straight question ........

Euro V = 10 ppm (parts per million) sulphur
    Euro IV = 50 ppm
    Euro III = 350 ppm
    Euro II = 500 ppm
    Euro I = 2000 ppm

    How many sulphur particles?
That's all we all want to know .......
So 'Put Up or Shut Up'

yep, why don't they just tell us what they're selling

    low sulfur diesel?

    ultra low sulfur diesel?

plain oil high sulfur diesel with "additives"?

Petron won't tell for the meantime because they wanted to do a fast one on this issue by just changing the name of the diesel and putting a small increase in amount of some sort of additives. Maybe they'll announce it later when they found out that the Filipino motoring public knew about the Euro diesel classification....Maybe they thought we are that stupid.

Anyone who's tried this one? Does it have any significant effects on the vehicle's performance compared to when its running on regular diesel? What's its price per liter?

Ganda ng takbo pag naka petron turbo diesel, mas mapapansin mo better performance kesa difference from unleaded to blaze or V power,

Pino na ang D4D lalo pa pumino sa petron turbo diesel parang naka gas engine ka

My experience has been so-so for this variant. I've mostly used Petron as my fuel for my car, but recently changed to Total as the fuels are imported and undergo refining abroad to stricter standards. Lower sulfur levels=cleaner emissions. Anyway, I was expecting the same from Petron TD, but after using it for two weeks, my experience has been the same. Its matipid, but on sudden acceleration, there is black smoke. I don't experience that with Total, but the FC on Total is a bit more. Test it, and find out for yourself if its worth the extra P4.00 / liter. Hope this helps.
