Anything that is stated in your car manual which is probably 91+ octane, and of course except diesel and kerosene and regular gas.

Some units knock on regular unleaded, but that's not surprising.

Just do a hit-n-miss trial, if your engine doesn't knock on regular unleaded then continue using it. If it does, fill up with premium. If you're able to buy a car that's worth hundreds of thousands, I'm sure you wouldn't mind paying a couple of pesos more for the sake of your engine.

ever since i got my accent mt last september, i used premium. i may try caltex silver. sabi maganda daw pati hatak.

I use Shell V-Power although I prefer sana XCS but I'm afraid that if I switch, magka-knock.

I am using caltex gold for my accent 1.4mt so far so good..

XCS should work. Just don't go down to Xtra or regular unleaded. Try to stay in the 93 RON range.
