    si cj nakatry na mag Shell helix (yata). ako na try ko pa lang yung Petron Rev-x Trekker. yung multigrade semi-synthetic. Mukhang mas ok sya kesa IGMO. mas smooth acceleration. Will try it again on my next oil change.

    kasi yung magaling na dealer na napuntahan mo kinargahan ang IGMO nang CASTROL... putcha tawang tawa ako dun

    right now I am using Shell Helix Diesel super ok siya smooth ride siya... medyo less noise

    shell helix na lang siguro gamitin ko kasi b4 gamit ko shell rimula x lang so parang upgrade lang .........

    If we based it on the API and SAE ratings then the Shell Helix diesel Super would win hands down. Shell Helix Diesel Super has an API rating of CF/SJ which is higher compared to the IGMO rated CD. Also Shell has an SAE viscosity of 15W-40 (multigrade) compared to the monograde IGMO SAE 40. Multigrade offers a better low temp and start-up engine protection then monograde oils.

    Pero if we base it on the recommendations of Isuzu and what is written on the plate at the engine bay then IGMO wins hands down. It's recommended fully by Isuzu and meets the minimum requirements of the manufacturer. Kailangan din ito ang gamitin para di ma-void ang warranty ng new vehicle. Also written on the engine bay is to "Use only API CD oil" which IGMO meets. The lower Shell Rimula J for jeepneys as I recall which is API CD and SAE 40 may well be the equivalent of IGMO and not the higher Shell Helix Diesel Super.

    Just my two cents.

    If you want the best protection for your diesel ride then go for an oil with an API rating of CH-4 or CI-4 (Delvac 1 and Caltex Delo 400) if available. Shell offers this in it's Rimula X, Petron with Rev-X Trekker, Caltex Gold Multigrade, Mobil Delvac MX, Castrol GTD, etc...(all API CH-4). Your best bet is the diesel synthetics like Mobil Delvac 1, Petron Rev-X All-Terrain, Caltex Delo Sports, etc....

    I still don't understand this warranty thing. malalaman ba if iba oil na ginamit mo? none of my cars ever returned to the casa after being bought. once lang nung nag recall ung manufacturer.

    Iyon din po ang ipinagtataka ko. Wala silang paraan para malaman ito except if your PMS record with the casa is complete. During the warranty coverage of our Trooper (4JG2) ay sabi nila void ang warranty pag ibang oil ang ginamit kaya stick kami sa IGMO until the warranty expires. :confused:

    I think it is the Marketing effect thingy.

    Bakit pag binalik mo ba sa dealer yan... titikman nila yan at sasabihin hindi siya IGMO...

    Not to discredit, I am using IGMO.. ngayon lang ako nag shell helix pero sa 50K babalik ulit ako sa IGMO (Dahil Isuzu Loyalist ako eh)

    Pero just the same.... it is the marketing effect. kasi pwede nila sabihin pag nagkaproblema piston mo sa Oil ang sisi... pero maniwala ka naman diyan sa mga iyan.. Rimulla J ang nilalagay...

    yung lang... Lord roydok is right... smooth acceleration ang Shell Helix Diesel pero as per Lord Afrasay said "Ganda lang yan dahil bagong change oil lang"

    yung lanbg.... I hope made some sense

    ganda pickup niya... kasi M/T eh..... siyempre as with all 2nd seat row problem yung pivot bolt inaabangan.. I like the smell of the new car... yung mom ko dala niya ang XTRM namin tapos nung inatras ko nung isang gabi naiyak ako dahil namiss ko ang empire blue ko .. snif snif.. pero sabi ko sa kanya ngayon weekend ikaw ang gagamitin ko...

    malaki difference nang noise from the XTRM to the XUVi baka injector pump problem. Attention DOC D. at Hanson tama ba... ?????

    tama po si rsnald, nasubukan ko na IGMO, shell helix for diesel, pati na rin rimula-x. so far, parang pinaka tahimik yung shell helix.

    i use shell helix diesel super in between the change oil of the casa. tama si boknoy, the casa sometimes uses only shell rimulla j. that is why i change oil in between the casa pms.

    mga pre 2004 model crosswind sasakyan ko, 30,000 km mileage what mas ok nag engine oil :SHELL HELIX DIESEL SUPER or SHELL HELIX DIESEL PLUS or SHELL HELIX EXTRA ULTRA
