masyado namang madaling sabihin na abuse of power ng oil cartel or whoever e
but let's face it, the world's supply of oil is diminishing. the major oil companies (BP, shell, etc) are already having difficulties finding new sources of oil now, and existing wells are starting to run dry (national geographic had a feature on this topic some time ago). and there are other factors besides this, like the iraq war
at the same time, the world's demand for oil is skyrocketing, led by china and the US. incidentally, the US consumes the most oil but has only a tiny fraction of the world's population. so it's not quite black-and-white who's "greedy" or "greedier", imo.
No wonder why they invaded Iraq. USA, S. ARABIA, AFGHANISTAN, and KUWAIT will enjoy the 2nd largest oil reserve (S.ARABIA is the largest).Originally Posted by mbt

THE ONLY JUSTIFICATION IN ENGAGING INTO A WAR/INVASION IS THE POSSIBILITY OF VICTORY.
