I've been using the big 3's diesels for the last 10 years that I've been driving my MB 300D ( a very "OLD" car). And to think that most of the big 3 have their own refineries here in the Philippines. You would expect them to produce high-quality diesel fuel at the outrageous prices they impose on the public. I was able to compare the diesel fuel that they have in the US last year when I was able to drive a friend's car ( the same as mine). I noticed na pinong-pino ang diesel engine chatter ng kotse at very responsive ang kotse na parang V6 gas ang dala ko. Very minimal if no black smoke. Then last week, as I was about to fill my fuel tank, a friend of mine told me to try the Small player's product. The small players daw directly import their already refined fuels from another country, (Singapore?). How true is this? Pero I took his suggestion seriously and I tried another brand, SeaOil. Any of you guys have the same experience? Like with the other suppliers (Total, UniOil, Flying V, CityOil, SeaOil?)
