i'm very much interested in this lpg conversion for my gas-guzzling revo (2.0L 1RZE). major concern ko lang ay yung refilling stations since i'm located outside manila. what type is the most suitable for me, open, closed or sgi. i'm running on average of 1,200kms/month.

since tumaas ang lpg (for gas stoves) ng 2/kg kahapon, tumaas din ba autolpg? magkano na ba per liter ngayon?

ask ko lang, may konting ingay kasi akong nariring , na hindi ko naman naririnig dati, sa newly installed lpg device ko. normal ba talaga yun? i would usually hear yung ingay na yun pag tumatapak na ko sa brakes or slowing down. wala kasi yung ingay na yun nung naka gasoline pa ako. i would describe the noise like a stomach rumbling. ano po kaya ito?

Normally mas tahimik engine when on lpg. If the noise occurs only when you are on lpg, then check your lpg and air mixture, you might be running lean or rich

There are two downsides. Firstly it has a lower energy density than either petrol or diesel, so the equivalent fuel consumption is higher, but since many governments impose less tax, it is still usually more cost effective. Secondly, some designs of internal combustion engine require the lubrication of petrol or diesel with lead or lead substitute, and LPG's lack thereof can damage valves or shorten their life.
re: lower energy density...yup, yan yung sinasabi nila sir GH na if you're having a 9km/L fuel mileage on petrol, sa LPG mga 8km/L yan pero with the price difference, makakatipid talaga sa LPG, if my computations are right, makakatipid ako ng atleast 33% in which is a big savings already

re: petrol/ diesel lubrication...that goes with some designs of the ICE, maybe we can check what ICE's are those. there are more advantages than the disadvantages on LPG conversion, hence the gov't of australia, korea, turkey, italy, etc (nevermind our gov't though hahahaha) would not encourage its people to have their cars converted to LPG.

well, usually when it cold or I have left the car parked for a long time. If it's warm or simply parked for a short time, I just startup in LPG mode directly.

    wow! ... so much dedication.

Autogas (LPG) being a by-product of refining petroleum (thereby should be affected by crude oil's mostly upward price movement in the market) and with Autogas-LPG's increasing demand by our regular citizens (There is a proposal to convert tricycles in Pasig to run on LPG), won't all these factors contribute to an upward movement in the price of Autogas (LPG) ?
yes, but the price of auto-LPG is rather a sensitive item, even more sensitive than diesel because it's used for cooking and now fueling vehicles. I seriously doubt of the price of auto-LPG will catch up with gasoline/diesel prices, at least in the foreseeable future.
