What can i say about it? All the owners i've met swear not to buy another Opel again due to different problems they said they've encountered and the price of parts.

Look for better alternatives IMO... If you want an Opel the Astra seems better.

I've driven a 2003 Vectra (with 2.0L turbo) in Turkey. For the roughly 3 weeks I used it, it didn't give me any problems. They're quite nice and dependable in Europe. Beats me why they're so problematic in the Philippines.

The 98 is quite different from the 03.

Older Vectras are known in Europe and here as maintenance nightmares... one of the reasons for Daewoo's reputation for unreliability is the fact that they based their Espero model on the Vectra... a model, I believe, that now sells for 50k if you can find one that's halfway running... because most owners have not been able to care for them or find the parts.

It's a shame, really, as the Vectra is a relatively nice car, otherwise

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

avoid opel cars like the plague!!

For the following reasons: to wit-
    1. High spare parts prices (halos monopoly)
    2. Always has to be casa maintained
    3. Aircon seems to be conking out always
    4. Very few shops can fix it unlike japanese cars

panigurado mahal pyesa... dati nung bago ang Opel Rekord namin sabe ng tatay ko.... lumuluwa ang bulsa nya sa maintenance. lalo na siguro yung mga lemon units brought by GM World Phils.

98 opel vectra..what can u say?
