my wife is confuse what to choose between the two..
-need your opinions in terms of:
1. fuel consumption
2. ride comfort
3. mostly city drive
4. space
5. handling

1. fuel consumption - Jazz, maybe by just 1kpl
2. ride comfort - Altis, best ride i've had
3. mostly city drive - Altis
4. space - Altis unless you need the ULT feature. but the interior space of Altis big.
5. handling - Jazz is too stiff for my taste. Altis very comfy, both for city and long drives.

no match Jazz sa Altis, mismatch even since you're comparing a subcompact vs. a compact

the only advantage i see for the jazz over the altis which i bet your missus with like is the ease in swerving around tight corners and parking due to the size difference. Aside from that, Altis na.

patest drive mo pareho.. make sure same trim that you're considering para you know what you're getting.

Fuel consumption goes to the Jazz, everything else the Corolla 1.6V gets it. I am kinda curious the difference between the two price wise is around P100K more or less, wondering why are you comparing them?

Versatile I am 50-50 on that but safer definitely its not. Its proven the sub-compact cars fare worse than a bigger car in this case a compact car.

Here is a Youtube video slamming a Jazz (Fit) to an Accord and likewise a Yaris to a Camry. I would rather be in the Accord/Camry in that collision.

I would assume a Corolla would also be safer than a Jazz.

So less than P100K lang pala. And the Jazz 1.5 is now P822K by the way so mga P47K lang pala difference. This is a no brainer get the Corolla 1.6V

Altis 1.6v is now 925k...

i'm insisting my wife to get the altis but since galing sya sa 06 vios so feeling nya parang parehas lang...

ang gusto ko naman sa jazz maski 5 yrs from now parang maporma pa rin parang suzuki swift not unlike sa altis parang after a few yrs luma na ang design...

for long term use maybe 5-6 years ano mas marecommend nyo?

Altis pa din in the long run... Sure mas maporma ang Jazz pero space never goes out of style... And the Altis has more of it. At yung styling ng Corolla will not fade kasi classic yung itsura nya unlike yung Jazz masyadong space ship ang design.

i would recommend the altis. a classic design will never go out of style but a futuristic design will be out of place once the fad for it fades away.

altis 1.6V is 869K
altis 1.8V is 925K

the design and macho appearance of altis in white pearl to me will last than jazz

swift design was inspired to mini copper, an european car.if you are concern about porma the launching of mazda 2/ford demio and hyundai i20 is just around the corner which is look way better than jazz.
