Carburator - Simple, you may be able to fix yourself.
Fuel Injected - Everything else.

From experience with a 1.3 Carb - yeah, it's simple to fix. I used to maintain my carb myself.
But a 1.6 EFI will give you similar fuel economy (the 1.3 is better on the highway, but only if it's clean), less headache, more power, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera... but that's given that you keep it well-maintained and have the sensors cleaned every now and then.

on a un-controlled/sudden car spin, tatapon ang fuel sa carb, ganito ang nangyari sa akin sa edsa using my maxima, noon nasilaw ako sa ilaw noong ginagawa pa ang MRT na yun.. sa malapit sa pasong tamo flyover. papaunta akong alay-lakad kasi sa ROTC na yan!2am...
