Exterior wise, I'll pick Elantra. It is one of the best looking exterior sedans.

I'd pick the Elantra GLS. In black please

    1. TOTL e'. Kaya Vios 1.5G kinuha namin than Altis 1.6G nung '08.

    2. Lamang sa safety features.

    3. Ground clearance lang lamang ng Tucson.

I'd say depende yun sa requirements at preferences mo. Kung mabahain and/or medyo malubak-lubak ang area mo, or kung lagi kang may maraming dala, you may want to get the Tucson. If what you're after is performance, safety and comfort then doon na sa Elantra.

Eh di sabihin nating more focused on performance ang Elantra (compact sedan) as compared to the Tucson (compact SUV). Which one would you rather modify, bring to a track or fling on slaloms? And dun sa comfort eh syempre ang tinitingnan na sasakyan ay matic na Elantra at manual na Tucson, malamang mas comfortable magdrive ng matic.

Ganda ah. I was just stressing that the Elantra is more performance oriented, being a sportily tuned compact sedan. Not that the TS would want to be bringing this to the track. There are other, more worthy cars for that purpose.

    Sportily tuned compact sedan.

Hindi Elantra. Honda Civic FD, Mazda 3 2.0R, Focus TDCi at Impreza 2.0R M/T.

Sarap bihisan ang Elantra.. Lalo na kapag black.

Diba renzo, yung black Elantra GLS na debadged tapos naka OEM Tucson 18" wheels. Damn.

3 times ko nang nakita yun sa Makati.

Haha~ Basta magets niyo ibigsabihin ko by the Elantra GLS being sportier than the Tucson GL M/T in looks and in handling, yun na yun.

Now just for the heck of it, I'd rather bring this to a track than the Tucson with the setup.

*TS: For me, my personal choice would be the Elantra GLS. Its cheaper than the Tucson and has got the usual host of creature and safety features as compared to the stripped down Tucson. I should probably also be expecting better fuel efficiency with the Elantra, having a newer engine design and lower weight and displacement. The A/T would also be more convenient in city driving, and there's the manual shift override should you want to be more engaged. Now, I would choose the Elantra over the Tucson because we have other vehicles for the Tucson's advantages over the Elantra (more cargo space, higher ground clearance).

Personally I am pretty much OK with it.

Oo alam kong OEM yan. Pangit parin.

Modulo kits lang ng FD ang nagustuhan ko sa mga OEM aero kits ng compact sedan.
