I am planning to buy my Mother and Father a second-hand SUV for their daily use. Here are my choices

a 1999/2001 Revo with a Diesel engine (MT) for 280k Php
a 2001 Honda CRV running on Gas (MT) for 280k Php
a 2002 Subaru Forester running on Gas (MT) for 315k Php

Can you please help me as to which one I should buy? All of the above are in good running conditions and have pretty decent exteriors and interiors. My concerns are on the following:

Fuel efficiency
Parts and service maintenance
Durability

The seller of the Forester told me that it's FE is at 19 city and 25 highway MPG. Is this possible in the current city traffic situation? Comparing it to the Revo, the seller said it was at around 11/13 MPG combined using Diesel. I'm a bit confused as to why the Forester seems to consume less fuel as against the Revo.
